This is a work of art. It's an aluminium steering column designed to directly suit the Morris Classic Mini - Single Stalk. It is manufactured from machined 6061 T6 aircraft grade billet aluminium, and then highly polished.
Until now, Mini owners have had no option but to stay with the original factory drab column and upgrade other areas of the car. Our columns are a fantastic addition to the iconic Mini and will certainly distinguish it amongst the many standard Minis out there.
Each steering column is COLLAPSIBLE, so it will comply with ADRA 10 rules. It has left and right self-cancelling indicators and the widely available 9 hole billet or 6 hole aftermarket steering wheels will fit right on this as the column also comes supplied with either a 6 or 9 hole steering hub and full horn contact support.
All columns are built with A double sealed roller bearing, 4140 High Tensile precision ground centre shaft, fully machined housings and body using 6061 T6 aluminium.
Additional options include a Turn Signal Switch that has High & Low Beam toggle and High Beam Flasher all in the one switch, and a third switch option which offers these features together with windscreen wiper and washer control.
The column also includes our own manufactured steering rack connector on the output shaft, so it will directly fit onto your existing factory rack. The column tube is 32mm OD, the same diameter as the original allowing the use of the original (1972 onwards) dash to 32mm column clamp.

Our columns come standard with a highly polished finish, however if you plan to paint the column yourself, choose the Linished Finish option. Alternatively we can have the column painted for you in a Black Finish.
There's no cutting or modifications required to the vehicle structure to fit this, it goes straight in. All you will need is an auto electrician to wire it up.
